Very beautiful Boucheron Quatre Classique Large model ring composed of a gadrooned ring in yellow gold, a Double Godron ring in pink gold, a smooth ring in white gold and a "Clou de Paris" ring in brown PVD. Four rings available in four designs, four materials and four textures.

The textures of each ring reflect the symbolic lines of the Boucheron house: the Clou de Paris, the Grosgrains, the mirror setting and the Double Godron. The Grosgrain would illustrate the origins of Frédéric Boucheron whose parents were drapers; the Clou de Paris, nail heads evoking Parisian cobblestones and recalling that Boucheron was the first Parisian jeweler to set up on Place Vendôme; the Double Godron, a so-called “chimney” technique, which was created in 1889 by Frédéric Boucheron, making it possible to assemble different gold bangles; the mirror setting which would allow the person wearing the ring to see the reflections of their life.

Why did Françoise choose it?

Françoise has already shown her particular interest in the watch models of Maison Boucheron, both for the Reflet and for La Carrée. Two models which feature jewelry motifs on their case and, sometimes, on the strap. This Quatre ring, in addition to being one of the flagship pieces of the Boucheron collections, brings together in itself a combination of techniques as well as the evocation of different motifs evoking historical creations and the very essence of the House . It is harmonious and fits the hand perfectly. A ring that can be worn without constraints, according to the seasons and desires. Another advantage of this model: the possibility of combining it with any other jewelry or watch, whether gold or silver.

History

Boucheron is one of the Houses that Françoise finds unfairly forgotten. Founded by Frédéric Boucheron in 1893, the jewelry house was the first to set up on Place Vendôme in 1893. Since then, four generations of direct descendants have followed one another. Boucheron was a pioneer on a large number of watchmaking and jewelry subjects, offering pieces rivaling technical innovations, avant-garde designs and creativity.

It was in 2004 that the Quatre collection appeared in the Maison Boucheron collections. It will continue to grow and evolve over the years.
