A subtle golden Reflet
Description
The design of the Reflet (french from reflection) is one of the rare designs that we recognize at first glance : a rectangular case with vertical lines that accentuate the elongate feeling. The other major feature that made the Reflet a watchmaking revolution is the strap system. The very principle of the clasp is rethought by Boucheron : the case becomes the strap fermoir. Thanks to this ingenious system you can change the strap according to your desires!
In yellow gold with a golden dial, this model exudes great elegance. It is a precious watch that knows how to remain discreet and pairs particularly well with its camel-colored strap. This watch is as comfortable (strap being made to your measures) as it is practical (quartz movement).

La Reflet is unjustly forgotten when it comes to women's horology. Its strap attachment system is revolutionary because it allows you to match your strap to your outfit. For that alone, Françoise is particularly fond of the Reflet and would like to offer it more often. Besides, its long design sits particularly well on the wrist.
The almost sporty, yet undeniably modern design of the Reflet (sharp lines, imposing case) is softened here by the use of gold and the camel-colored strap. That was all it took to make Françoise fall in love!
History
Boucheron is one of the brands that Françoise finds unjustly overlooked. After being the first jewelry house to set up shop in Place Vendôme, Boucheron was a forerunner on a large number of watchmaking and jewelry subjects. The brand's founder Frédéric Boucheron was among the first to promote the wristwatch, as early as the middle of the 19th century.
La Reflet, born in 1947 in the hands of the heirs of the founder, was Boucheron's first "mass" watchmaking success. Its system to switch straps in an heartbeat was a revolution for women as they can finally adapt their watch exactly to their outfit. Watches become a fashion accessory. Edith Piaf is perhaps the most famous ambassador of Boucheron watches : she considered her Reflet as her lucky charm (she was thought to have bought more than twenty!)
