As its name suggests, the Yacht-Master is the watch for the open sea. With its sporty design, its rotating platinum bezel, its certified chronometer movement and its water-resistant case to 100m, it perfectly illustrates the nautical spirit. Since the 1950s, Rolex has been linked to the world of sailing and marine sports: the Yacht-Master, released in 1992, inspired by the Submariner, is its heir. Two years later, the watchmaker offered a smaller version, perfect for women. This is also the first time that Rolex has offered different sizes for a professional model. Until now in gold, the model experienced real popularity when a steel version with a platinum bezel was launched in 1999. Since then, the Yacht-Master has been a delight for collectors and amateurs, sportspeople and vacationers alike.
