The design of the Reflet (French for reflection) is one of the rare designs that we recognize at first glance: a rectangular case with vertical lines that accentuate the elongate feeling.

The other major feature that made the Reflet a watchmaking revolution is the strap system. The very principle of the clasp is rethought by Boucheron: the case becomes the strap fermoir. Thanks to this ingenious system you can change the strap according to your desires! With this model, it is not one but 15 straps that are provided (including 13 signed Boucheron): an articulated steel bracelet, 8 custom-made leather bracelets (approx. 15 cm), 4 adjustable leather bracelets and 2 leather bracelets to put on your size. Thus, this piece perfectly meets the identity of the Boucheron Reflet with its interchangeable straps according to your outfits: everything is in your hands, or rather on your wrist.

This model stands apart from classical Reflets by the setting of horizontal diamonds along the case. This elegant setting underlines the verticality of the Reflet. 4 diamonds at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock on the dial answers to the diamonds on the case.

The advantage of a Reflet is that changing the strap makes the possibilities literally endless. Keep the steel bracelet, and you have a modern, everyday watch. Change to a colored, textured, smooth, matte or shiny leather strap, and you will wear a watch that matches your style! The Reflet is unjustly forgotten by women's watchmaking. Its strap attachment system is revolutionary because it allows you to match your watch strap to your outfit and your desires on a daily basis. History

Boucheron is one of the brands that Françoise finds unjustly overlooked. After being the first jewelry house to set up shop in Place Vendôme, Boucheron was a forerunner on a large number of watchmaking and jewelry subjects. The brand's founder Frédéric Boucheron was among the first to promote the wristwatch, as early as the middle of the 19th century.

La Reflet, launched in 1947, was the first mass-market watchmaking success for Boucheron, which was still run by the founder's heirs. Its system for changing straps in an instant was a revolution for women, who could at last turn their watches into fashion accessories that could be adapted to every outfit. Edith Piaf is perhaps the best-known ambassador for Boucheron watches, as she considered her Reflet (she bought more than twenty of them!) to be her lucky charm.
