The heart of the B.zero1 collection's design is its central cylindrical body, inspired by the arches of the Colosseum. This cylinder is composed of a wide central band divided into three flat rings which appear rolled up and joined seamlessly, and two wider rings, engraved with the classic Bulgari double logo.
The pattern is architectural, geometric and design : a bold shape creating a dynamic aesthetic.

History
Bulgari's B.zero1 collection, launched in 1999, is deeply inspired by the architecture and history of Rome, particularly the Colosseum. The collection's design is directly inspired by the Colosseum's shape and structure: the cylindrical shape and spiral bands of the jewelry recall the arches and curves of the Roman monument.
The name "B.zero1" itself is meaningful. The letter "B" stands for Bulgari, "zero" symbolizes the new millennium, and the number "1" illustrates infinite new beginnings. This nomenclature reflects the spirit of the collection, which celebrates both the brand's heritage and its future-oriented approach. Thus, the collection seeks to merge the old and the new: on the one hand, it draws inspiration from the ancient architecture of Rome, and on the other, it incorporates modern and innovative manufacturing techniques, such as the "tubogas" technique, used to create spiral tubes with hollow cylindrical cores.
Over the years, the B.zero1 collection has grown greatly, while retaining the distinctive spiral aesthetic, including rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. Bulgari collaborated with various designers and artists to create limited editions of the collection.
