The Kegend
Description
How can we talk about Cartier without thinking of the Baignoire model? All elegance, voluptuousness and delicacy, the Cartier Baignoire alone evokes the woman and the Cartier DNA. It also illustrates the technical capabilities of the Maison in creating a mechanism that fits into an oval case.
Rounded all-gold case, white dial, black indexes and blue hands: all the codes of the Cartier Baignoire are there. This 1980s model features a yellow gold folding clasp.
How to wear it?
In all circumstances, it will undoubtedly be the touch of elegance to your outfit. A refined, rounded watch that would be best worn with a formal outfit. However, it remains a daily watch. The Cartier Baignoire offers rounded lines that sit delicately on the wrist.
Why did Françoise choose her?
Because the Baignoire is a watch with an emblematic shape of the House of Cartier. A watch worn by many women over the years: women with confident style, women with character, women who are remembered.
History
From Catherine Deneuve to Jeanne Moreau to Romy Schneider, the Cartier Baignoire never ceases to charm.
Although Louis Cartier had already introduced an elongated watch design in the early 1900s, the iconic model we know today was born in 1958 in the Parisian Cartier workshops. A watch with feminine and sensual lines, an innovative and creative style. A few years later, the Elongated Baignoire appeared in the London studios.
If the case made of gold godron has retained its rounded design, it nevertheless offers some variations over the years, just like the dial, sometimes decorated with Roman numerals, sometimes with Arabic numerals. An intrinsically elegant watch that stands the test of time without losing its aura.

Every piece undergoes a two-step expert review before joining our selection.
Françoise and her team, collectors and horology enthusiasts for many years, examine it first.
Our partner watchmakers, with whom we work closely, then carry out the technical authentication.
Condition
Condition
Our photographs are true to life: taken in-house with a macro lens, they capture every detail of a piece with precision — including marks or scratches that may be less visible to the naked eye.
We never retouch a watch's condition; only the brightness of the photograph may be adjusted.
Serial numbers are removed from photographs to protect the authenticity of each piece.

Return and refund policy
Despite photos and descriptions that we hope are as accurate as possible, we know that the relationship with a piece of jewelry, a watch, is above all physical.
That's why we offer a 14-day return period, no questions asked, with a refund within 5 days of receiving the watch.
However, the watch must be in an aesthetic and mechanical condition similar to when it was sent.
