The Ceinture in all its glory
Description
The Cartier Ceinture never ceases to be talked about, especially in its Trinity guise. A model that has become a classic. Its dial incorporates all the traditional Cartier codes: gold case, overflowing side godrons, railroad-shaped minute scale and blue hands. If the classic size has proven itself, the small size is less common. However, its smaller dimensions make it a piece full of charm, elegant, practical and very comfortable on the wrist. Thanks to its white dial and its trois-ors case, so dear to Cartier, this Ceinture Trinity goes not only with the strap color of your choice but also with all kinds of jewelry.
Why did Françoise choose her?
The Ceinture is one of Françoise's favorite models: it is not only much less common than the Tank Louis but also exclusive to the vintage world. It is an emblematic Cartier model of great elegance, very comfortable thanks to its thin profile. The dial is particularly well proportioned in this smaller size, identifiable as a jewel. A piece that we do not see frequently, especially in the small three-gold version and which you could not get tired of.
History
The Ceinture, which appeared in 1937 at Cartier, offers original and refined lines containing the iconic dial of the House. This is a variation of the original Ceinture, in yellow, pink and white gold. It echoes the House's jewelry know-how and in particular the Trinity ring designed by Louis Cartier in 1924.
