Must 21: a boost in the Must range
Description
The Cartier Must 21 (ref. 1330), with its steel case and bracelet with gold details, presents a bold new look. Original and sporty with its dial combining steel and gold details, it can be an alternative to the more classic and simple gold models. With its rounded lines, it embodies the elegance and creativity of Cartier.
The Cartier Must 21 is distinguished first of all by its Roman numerals, not affixed to the dial but engraved directly on the bezel, thus creating a certain play of light and volume. We then find a refined silver dial - available in different versions - with the discreet inscription "Must de Cartier". Finally, the bracelet is almost integrated into the bracelet which creates a visual harmony. Its flexibility and the finesse of the case are particularly pleasant to wear.
This Must 21 comes with its documents, its Cartier box and additional links.
How to wear it?
While maintaining the inherent elegance of the Maison Cartier, this Must 21 will add a sporty touch to your outfit. This is also why this model can easily match whatever you wear, whatever outfit you choose. Perfect for work or vacation! This watch can also be worn with a leather strap to tone it down.
Why did Françoise choose it?
Whether monochrome or embellished with geometric patterns, with or without indexes, small or large, you'll always find a Must watch that matches your personality. That's why we offer models with different designs, some more or less sporty. The Must 21 isn't that common. Yet, it's a unique model that Françoise wanted to highlight. Since its case isn't made of precious metal, the Must offers a great alternative to gold models. Boldness and elegance in one model.
History
The "Must de Cartier" collection was launched in 1973 by Robert Hocq and Alain-Dominique Perrin, appointed general director of this new entity.
This creative line not only allowed Maison Cartier to expand its offering but also to offer a more accessible and offbeat range, thus democratizing the luxury sector while retaining its codes.
After lighters, pens and leather goods, it was the turn of the Must watch to make its appearance in 1976/77. The vermeille Tank was the first to make its debut with the words "Must de Cartier" and the two "C"s on the dial. Although the first models were made with a manual movement, quartz quickly became the norm for these everyday, easy-to-wear watches. The Must 21 was launched in 1986 and modernized the Must line: it embodied the end of the 80s and the 90s, when the watch became a fashion accessory as much as a tool.
