Description
The Cartier "Trinity" Ronde (reference 2357), in 18-carat gold with a gold-plated stainless steel folding clasp, presents a bold new look. Original, it can be an alternative to the more classic models from the Maison Cartier.
In addition to the iconic Cartier dial - black Roman numerals and baton indexes on a white dial, with blue hands - the Trinity Ronde features another signature of the Maison: the presence of three golds. The use of the alloy of three golds, three cardinal values, already used in the Trinity jewelry range, adds originality: pink gold for love, yellow gold for fidelity and finally white gold, which symbolizes friendship.
Why did Françoise choose it?
Furthermore, it stands out from other watch models with its round, soft, and moving shape. Even though it has a small diameter, the "waves" of its case give it a real presence on the wrist. The Trinity thus contrasts with the lines of other watch models such as the Tank Louis or the Santos.
Finally, the folding clasp and quartz movement provide additional, significant daily comfort.
History
The Cartier Trinity Ronde is one of the heirs of the Trinity de Cartier collection, one of the most symbolic creations of the Maison of which the ring was the pioneer, imagined in 1924 by Louis Cartier.
During the 1980s, the Maison Cartier underwent a significant revival of its collections. Cartier launched the "Les Must de Cartier" range under the direction of Alain-Dominique Perrin to appeal to a younger clientele. It was in this context that the Trinity Ronde appeared, a watch that perfectly captures the spirit and codes of Cartier. Some models were produced in limited edition or in very small quantities, in several sizes, sometimes paved with diamonds and/or associated with a yellow gold bracelet.
