Histoire
Tout comme la Tank, la Santos est l'un des modèle mythique Cartier. Elle est imaginée en 1904 par Louis Cartier pour son ami aviateur Alberto Santos-Dumont. Une montre capable de mesurer les exploits du pilote. Une montre pionnière, non seulement pour l'aviation mais aussi dans l'histoire de l'horlogerie : il s'agit de la première montre-bracelet pour homme. Depuis sa commercialisation en 1911, le modèle Santos ne cesse de séduire et son succès continue de grandir. Dans les années 1980, elle est la montre indispensable, celle que l'on voit sur les poignets des personnalités ou des aristocrates. Encore aujourd'hui, la Cartier Santos est déclinée en différentes versions, toujours fidèle au dessin original.
