Description

This Cartier Trinity Ronde (reference 2357), crafted in 18-carat gold, presents a confident new look. Original and distinctive, it offers a refined alternative to the Maison’s more classic models.

The Trinity Ronde showcases another of Cartier’s signatures: the presence of the three golds. The use of this three-gold alloy, three cardinal values, already celebrated in the Trinity jewellery collection, brings a unique character to the piece: pink gold for love, yellow gold for fidelity, and white gold symbolising friendship.

This model is far from common. Its dial departs from Cartier’s emblematic codes: no Roman numerals here, but elegant and precious hour markers formed by round diamonds set in gold, echoing the yellow-gold hands. The dial is further enhanced by a delicate guilloché finish, creating a subtle play of texture and light.

The watch is completed with an 18-carat yellow-gold Cartier deployant clasp and an adjustable lizard leather strap.

Why did Françoise choose it?

It stands apart from other watch models thanks to its round, soft, and fluid shape, further accentuated by the guilloché pattern. Despite its restrained diameter, the gentle “waves” of the case give it a true presence on the wrist. The Trinity thus contrasts beautifully with the more linear designs of models such as the Tank Louis or the Santos.

A precious piece, poised between watch and jewellery.

Finally, the deployant clasp and quartz movement provide additional, everyday comfort that should not be overlooked.

History

The Cartier Trinity Ronde is an heir to the Trinity collection, one of the Maison’s most symbolic lines, whose pioneering ring was imagined in 1924 by Louis Cartier.

During the 1980s, Cartier experienced a significant creative revival. Under the direction of Alain-Dominique Perrin, the Maison launched the “Les Must de Cartier” line to appeal to a broader audience. It was in this context that the Trinity Ronde appeared, a watch that perfectly expresses the spirit and codes of Cartier.

Some versions were produced in limited editions or in very small quantities, in several sizes, sometimes set with diamonds and/or paired with a yellow gold bracelet.

Authentication

Every piece undergoes a two-step expert review before joining our selection.

Françoise and her team, collectors and horology enthusiasts for many years, examine it first.

Our partner watchmakers, with whom we work closely, then carry out the technical authentication.

Condition

Our photographs are true to life: taken in-house with a macro lens, they capture every detail of a piece with precision — including marks or scratches that may be less visible to the naked eye.

We never retouch a watch's condition; only the brightness of the photograph may be adjusted.

Serial numbers are removed from photographs to protect the authenticity of each piece.

Shipping

Worldwide shipping and insurance are offered for each item upon receipt of payment.

Any customs duties and local taxes, which vary depending on the country of destination, remain your responsibility.

In Paris, hand-delivery is possible by appointment, once funds have been received.

Return and refund policy

Despite photos and descriptions that we hope are as accurate as possible, we know that the relationship with a piece of jewelry, a watch, is above all physical.

That's why we offer a 14-day return period, no questions asked, with a refund within 5 days of receiving the watch.

However, the watch must be in an aesthetic and mechanical condition similar to when it was sent.
