Shine bright like a diamond
Description
Perhaps you know the Cartier Trocadéro, which is not very common at Cartier. This paved model is even less so. A fairly rare piece whose case is set with diamonds and mounted on a gold “grains de riz” bracelet. More than a watch, this Cartier is a jewel, an impression accentuated by its size.
A very pleasant watch to wear thanks to two characteristics: the extremely flexible bracelet and the slightly curved case.
It is undeniably very elegant. A rare jewelry watch that you won't be ready to see on your friend's wrist.
How to wear it
This Cartier Trocadéro is exceptional. A luxury watch that you will wear in the evening like a piece of jewelry but whose style can also be worn with jeans and a shirt. Why not swap your “grain de riz” bracelet with a leather bracelet for your day? This model maintains one size, thus avoiding the "flashy" appearance "eye" that some overly jeweled watches can have.
Why did Françoise choose her?
You just have to admire this cobbled Trocadéro to understand Françoise's choice. A collector's item, full of finesse and elegance which nevertheless retains its practical side thanks to the quartz movement. If it wasn't so beautiful to look at, you might forget it's on your wrist. A piece that is undoubtedly not unique but a rare piece, an absolutely superb piece, a nod to the jewelry world of Maison Cartier.
History
It was in 1917 that the Tank watch, known as the Tank Normale, appeared; in honor of the heroes of the First World War, its design is inspired by the first assault tanks. Five years later, the Tank Louis Cartier was imagined, a model very similar to the first but whose dial is more elongated and the stretchers are thinner and rounded. Several generations follow one another, retaining the same identity codes while adapting to new watchmaking technologies such as quartz. The Trocadéro is an interesting variation of this legendary piece with a squarer dial and case, more volume and clean lines.

Authentication
Authentication
Every piece undergoes a two-step expert review before joining our selection.
Françoise and her team, collectors and horology enthusiasts for many years, examine it first.
Our partner watchmakers, with whom we work closely, then carry out the technical authentication.
Condition
Condition
Our photographs are true to life: taken in-house with a macro lens, they capture every detail of a piece with precision — including marks or scratches that may be less visible to the naked eye.
We never retouch a watch's condition; only the brightness of the photograph may be adjusted.
Serial numbers are removed from photographs to protect the authenticity of each piece.

Return and refund policy
Despite photos and descriptions that we hope are as accurate as possible, we know that the relationship with a piece of jewelry, a watch, is above all physical.

However, the watch must be in an aesthetic and mechanical condition similar to when it was sent.
