This beige-gold version, enhanced by a diamond-set bezel, stands out thanks to its tweed-pattern bracelet, directly inspired by the Maison Chanel’s most emblematic symbols and its iconic jackets. The gold is hammered to create a play of relief and texture that beautifully adorns the wrist.

History

The Boy·Friend collection was launched by Chanel in 2015, nearly thirty years after the Première (1987), the Maison’s very first watch. This new line introduced a more structured, modern vision of watchmaking.

It was born at a time when Chanel was reaffirming its horological identity, offering a model that borrows its structure and minimalism from masculine design while preserving an assertive, elegant and timeless femininity.

The name Boy·Friend is therefore far from incidental, evoking both the masculine wardrobe so dear to Gabrielle Chanel, and the idea of appropriating a “men’s” watch, as well as an elegance freed from convention.
