Less known than its big sister the DateJust, the Date brings together everything we love about Rolex: robust, practical, waterproof, automatic without being flashy or too imposing. The very beautiful silver dial underlines this discreet side, almost plain, but beware of anyone who gets too close! The reflections of sunlight on the dial might dazzle them!
How to wear it?
Do you really have to answer? Everywhere, all the time. With a shirt, a T-shirt, a dress, a tuxedo, nothing, a bathing suit... The only exceptions are the sauna, golf, and tennis, but these apply to all mechanical watches!
Why did Françoise choose it ?
Françoise's love for 34mm Rolexes is no longer to be explained (especially with a simple, light-colored dial)! The Date takes everything we love about the Air King, and adds a date. Everyone can form their own opinion on a date function on a watch but Françoise loves it!
History
Released a few years after the DateJust, the Date immediately adopted the most obvious Rolex codes: a smooth bezel (most often, even if there are Dates with different bezels), robust steel, a contained diameter and simple, uncluttered dials. Of course, as almost always with Rolex, the cyclops enlarges the date for more readability. Over the years, and until 2002, year of birth of this one, many were the technical adjustments, without touching the original DNA.
Released a few years after the DateJust, the Date immediately adopted Rolex's most iconic elements: a smooth bezel (most of the time, although there are Date models with different bezel styles), sturdy stainless steel construction, a modest diameter, and simple, clean dials. Of course, as almost always the case with Rolex, the cyclops magnifies the date for enhanced readability. Over the years, until the birth of this particular one in 2002, numerous technical adjustments were made without altering its original DNA.

That's why we offer a 14-day return period, no questions asked, with a refund within 5 days of receiving the watch.
However, the watch must be in an aesthetic and mechanical condition similar to when it was sent.
